Rajapakse regime gets ready to do anti-opposition propaganda by “fixing” Sarath Fonseka & his son-in-law on charges of alleged corruption
Sarath Fonseka’s son in law, Danuna Tillekaratne has been ordered by Police to present himself before the CID on Jan 21st for an inquiry

The inquiry will probe Danuna’s alleged involvement with the firm Hi-corp international through which many arms deals were done by the govt
It is alleged that Danuna made “illegal”profits through these deals supplying arms&ammunition to the Sri Lankan govt during war against LTTE
Danuna who is the son of a retired army brigadier is alleged to have made money through commissions paid to a Pakistani national “middleman”
According to media reports Danuna made US 2 cents per bullet and US $20 dollars per artillery shell purchased from China through these deals
It is alleged that Sarath Fonseka acted improperly by using his clout as army chief to compel army tender board into awarding the contracts

Sarath Fonseka & supporters have denied these allegations and charged the govt of trying to tarnish the general’s image as being corrupt

I’m a pensioner who got Rs 1,125 more this month; if Fonseka gets elected, I will get an even bigger increase. Production? Inflation?
Citizens! Please let’s protest against THIS corruption. Few know that you can vote for THREE candidates. Let your numbers ONE and TWO be for honest and consistent men (no women among 22 candidates!). Perhaps it’s best if we vote number THREE for the more level headed “War Hero”.
No human is perfect. But listen to the candidates for half an hour each on Channel Eye of the State Rupavahini Service: 7.30 to 8.30 p.m. It usually carries Tamil Programmes. Impressing me so far have been U.B. Wijekoon, Wickremabahu Karunaratne, Wije Dias, and Siritunga Jayasuriya.
But beware of disappointment on certain nights. Yesterday two guys lambasted the Incumbent but didn’t didn’t ask us to vote for him. Stooges planted by the General, obviously. They were followed by Rajapaksa whom we know well enough.
The public are so cynical that they decide “a priori” that “all candidates” are rogues. Or they are told by agents of the two Big Brothers that a vote for “minor” candidates are “spoilt votes”.
Mark ye this: in a close race your vote will get its full value on the THIRD count. If it is a landslide, it will make NO difference. Work it out – simple arithmetic!

Sarath Fonseka knew that he is not going to live in Sri Lanka but In US. He also knew that he will get assassinated for killing LTTE Terrorists once he is in US.
So he joined the presidential campaign and made a pact with LTTE party supporters and promised to Release all LTTE suspects. To give 3/2 of the country and to withdraw all army camps from North and East. Once he is defeated on Jan 26th these contacts are null and void, but he has gain the trust and forgiveness from LTTE terrorists. Then he will immigrate to USA and live happily ever after with all the funds stolen from Sri Lanka.
His plan is woking for the moment
